Jailton Almeida’s increase in the UFC hasactually been an excellent one.
The Brazilian heavyweight hasactually passed every test put in front of him and, in his last one, looked to be a severe hazard to the title. This past May, Almeida controlled veteran Jairzinho Rozenstruik to send him with a rear-naked choke in the veryfirst round of their primary occasion bout at UFC on ABC 4. Almeida made a $50,000 Performance of the Night benefit for his fast surface.
