Dominick Reyes was in desperate requirement of a triumph at UFC on ESPN 57, and he got the task done versus Dustin Jacoby in 2 minutes.
Reyes (13-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) snapped his four-fight losing skid and got his hand raised for the veryfirst time giventhat October 2019 when he hurt Jacoby (19-9-1 MMA, 7-6-1 UFC) with a counter punch early in the battle then assaulted till he got the TKO blockage at the 2: 00 mark of Round 1 in the light heavyweight bout at KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ken.

It’s been a rough run for Reyes, 34, in current years. He almost accomplished one of the biggest highs in MMA history when he pressed Jon Jones to the limitation and lost a questionable choice in February 2021 at UFC 247.
That loss to Jones kicked off a four-fight losing skid, however that is now a thing of the past after Reyes got the nod over Jacoby with the interruption win.
“I feel fantastic,” Reyes stated in his post-fight interview with Paul Felder. “I’m simply so blessed to have the group that I have. … I do this for all you individuals to program you what I have.”
