Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen had no intent of injuring each other when they stepped in the ring for a boxing match Saturday in Brazil.
In a fight sports trilogy bout inbetween the set, Silva and Sonnen gently sparred for 5, two-minute rounds of exhibit boxing in front of a personal audience at Spaten Fight Night in Sao Paulo.
Both guys did land some tidy head shots, with Silva bloodying the nose of Sonnen towards the end of the battle, however there was neverever hazard of a knockdown or knockout.
With no surface and no judges in location, the bout inbetween UFC Hall of Famer and previous longtime UFC middleweight champ Silva and Sonnen ended in a draw.
