Wildlife professionalphotographers on a safari in Botswana’s Okavango Delta got more than they haggled for when a troubled hippo allofasudden responded strongly to their existence.
Bill and Linda Klipp were photographing and recording a only hippo “doing what hippos do” at a watering hole when things turned dicey.
“It’s not uncommon for elephants and hippos to make incorrect or mock charges, demonstrating who is the manager or to safeguard their area,” Bill mentioned in their YouTube post. “While we were anticipating a brief mock charge this was not the case, he came quickly at us through the water and within seconds was out of the water hurrying towards our vehicle.”
