It will be a 2nd straight bowl look for Rutgers football, with the Sporting News forecasting another postseason berth for the Big Ten program.
The forecasts come from the highly-respected Bill Bender (who is a terrific follow on Twitter X). Bender hasactually predicted all 35 non-College Football Playoff bowl videogames and the outcome is poignant for Rutgers.

The forecast has Rutgers in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl on Dec. 26 versus Maryland. The videogame is held at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.
Rutgers played in this bowl videogame in 2005 versus Arizona State in what was their veryfirst postseason look under head coach Greg Schiano. Last year, they played in the Pinstripe Bowl, beating Miami.
