PARIS — Tunisia’s opposition Islamist celebration Ennahdha stated that one of its senior authorities hasactually been positioned under home arrest by authorities in what it called an prohibited choice.
Ennahdha condemned in a declaration Sunday the sanction versus Abdel Karim Harouni and called for him to be launched.
The National Salvation Front, Tunisia’s primary opposition union which consistsof Ennahdha, stated in a declaration that Harouni hadactually been positioned under home arrest from Saturday night, one day priorto he was to take part in a conference to prepare the celebration’s congress setup in October.
The opposition union knocked an “arbitrary choice” that comes “in the context of the arr
