Aer Lingus cancels Dublin-origin flights, mentions IT interruption

LONDON — The Irish provider Aer Lingus canceled all flights out of Dublin to European and U.K. locations Saturday after a significant computersystem networking event knocked offline its check-in and boarding systems and site, the business stated.

It stated all outbound flights from Dublin start at mid-afternoon were canceled, and a number of Dublin-bound flights from European locations were likewise canceled. Flights from Portugal and Spain were postponed, it stated.
