CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — Amazon released the veryfirst test satellites for its prepared web service on Friday as a competitor to SpaceX’s broadband network.

United Launch Alliance’s Atlas V rocket blasted off with the set of test satellites, kicking off a program that intends to enhance international web protection with an ultimate 3,236 satellites around Earth.

Amazon strategies to start offering service by the end of next year.

Elon Musk’s SpaceX has a big head start over Amazon and its creator Jeff Bezos, who has his own rocket business, Blue Origin.

SpaceX flew its veryfirst test Starlink satellites in 2018 and the veryfirst functional satellites in2019 It has consideringthat released more than 5,000 Starlinks from Florida and California, utilizing its own Falcon rockets.
