More than 1.3 million chickens are being butchered on an Ohio egg farm as the bird influenza continues to take a toll on the market.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture stated all 1.35 million chickens on the farm in Ohio’s Union County will be butchered to aid limitation the spreadout of the extremely infectious infection after a case was verified in the flock this week.
