TORONTO — Canada’s antitrust guarddog stated Thursday it is takinglegalactionagainst Google over declared anticompetitive conduct in the tech huge’s online marketing organization and desires the business to sell off 2 of its advertisement tech services and pay a charge.

The Competition Bureau stated that such action is essential since an examination into Google discovered that the business “unlawfully” connected together its advertisement tech tools to keep its dominant market position.

The matter is now headed for the Competition Tribunal, a quasi-judicial body that hears cases brought forward by the competitors commissioner about non-compliance with the Competition Act.
