BANGKOK — Chinese carmanufacturer BYD stated Friday that it prepares to construct a brand-new electrical automobile plant in Hungary, its veryfirst carsandtruck factory in Europe, as part of its quick worldwide growth.

Hungary will be the center for its European operations, BYD stated in a notification on its Weibo social media account.

BYD, based in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen, stated it prepares to produce thousands of tasks in developing a “local green community” for production its electrical lorries. The factory will have an advanced production line and will be developed in stages, it stated without offering information on the quantity of cash to be invested.

BYD is amongst EV producers making quick inroads into Europe, to the degree that European regulators haveactually started a probe into Chinese federalgovernment assistance for the market. The business, whose name stands for “Build Your Dreams,”
