LIVINGSTON, Ky. — Kentucky authorities and teams with rail operator CSX were working Friday to eliminate train carsandtrucks and spilled product at the website of a derailment that stimulated a chemical fire earlier in the week and triggered home evacuations in a close-by little town.

State authorities stated Friday they were tracking the air for traces of hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxide, however there hadactually been no detection of those compounds at the derailment website or the neighboring town of Livingston giventhat Thursday earlymorning. The fire was snuffedout at the website simply after twelvenoon on Thursday.
