WASHINGTON — U.S. health authorities cautioned momsanddads to prevent powdered baby formula offered by a Texas dairy manufacturer, since a harmful germs was discovered in one of the business’s items.
The Food and Drug Administration released the alert Friday on Crecelac Infant Powdered Goat Milk Infant Formula, after a sample gathered from a Texas shop evaluated favorable for cronobacter, which can cause fatal infections in children. The exactsame germs triggered remembers and scarcities of baby formula in 2022 after it was discovered at a significant U.S. formula factory.
The Crecelac formula was imported and dispersed by Dairy Manufacturers Inc., of Prosper, Texas, according to the FDA.
