Geneva airport briefly closed as environment activists demonstration personal jet reasonable

GENEVA — Geneva’s airport was briefly closed to flights on Tuesday as environment activists stormed a personal jet reasonable on a neighboring tarmac by ripping down or scaling fences, handcuffing themselves to landing equipment and other material, and scuffling with cops and security priorto being transported away. City cops stated about 80 individuals were apprehended.

The demonstration included about 100 activists from 17 nations and groups, consistingof Greenpeace, Scientist Rebellion, Stay Grounded and Extinction Rebellion, who interferedwith the yearly European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition — one of the market’s leading occasions, which is taking location in Geneva this week.
