State-run Syrian Arab News Agency states TELEVISION anchor eliminated in Israeli attack on Syrian capital.

Three civilians haveactually been eliminated and 9 others injured in Israeli strikes on Syria’s capital Damascus, state-run media hasactually reported.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) earlier reported that its tv anchor Safaa Ahmad was eliminated on Tuesday in “treacherous Israeli hostility” targeting the Syrian capital.
Footage published on social media appeared to program a carsandtruck swallowedup in flames on a street surrounded by home blocks.
It was not clear if the speaker was amongst the 3 civilian casualties referred to by state media.
Israel’s Ministry of Defense and military did not rightaway respond to a demand for remark.
The reports of Israeli strikes on the Syrian capital came as its military started “limited, localised, and targeted” ground raids in neighbouring Lebanon in a significant escalation of its offensive targeting the equipped group Hezbollah.
