TOKYO — Japan’s exports increased 7.8% in February from a year earlier on strong deliveries of automobiles and electrical equipment, the federalgovernment stated Thursday.
Exports in February amountedto 8.2 trillion yen ($55 billion), marking the 3rd straight month of development, according to initial custom-mades information.
The report revealed the trade deficit sank by more than half on-year to 379 billion yen ($2.5 billion), marking the 2nd straight month of a deficit.
Exports to China increased simply 2.5% and those to all of Asia edged 2.3% greater on-year, recommending that need hasactually moderated. Exports to the United States increased 18% and exports to the EU were up practically 16%.
