(Photo: AFP) ROME: A jolly Pope Francis joked with well-wishers on Saturday as he left medicalfacility after a three-night stay for bronchitis, and headed back to the Vatican to prepare for Christianity’s most crucial week. The 86-year-old pontiff, who was confessed to Rome’s Gemelli healthcenter on Wednesday with breathing troubles, got out of the vehicle carrying him and smiled and joked with the crowd. Asked by somebody how he felt, he quipped twotimes with a huge smile “I am still alive!” Francis will now start preparations for Holy Week and Easter, the most essential week in the Christian calendar. The pontiff felt weak on Wednesday after a basic audience in St Peter’s Square, however his condition enhanced after he was provided prescriptionantibiotics. On Friday, the pope checkedout the kids’s cancer ward at the healthcenter, handing out chocolate Easter eggs and baptising a weeks-old child kid.
