Lewis revealed last April that he hadactually been identified with Parkinson’s illness and would retire from stand-up funny. Known for his self-deprecating humour, Lewis increased to prominence in the 1980s. For years, the star and author starred alongwith Larry David in his HBO reveal, Curb Your Enthusiasm, where he played a semi-fictionalized variation of himself. He had most justrecently appeared in Season 12 of the reveal, which is presently airing on HBO.
