LONDON — The chief executive of U.K. bank NatWest Group apologised Thursday to populist politicalleader Nigel Farage after he grumbled that his bank account was shut down duetothefactthat the banking group didn’t concur with his political views.

Farage, a talk program speaker and previous leader of the pro-Brexit U.K. Independence Party, stated his account with the distinguished personal bank Coutts, owned by NatWest Group, was closed down unjustly.
