The relocation follows a grievance from a momsanddad that the King James Bible has product inappropriate for kids. Utah’s Republican federalgovernment passed a law in 2022 prohibiting “pornographic or indecent” books from schools. Most of the books that haveactually been prohibited so far pertain to subjects such as sexual orientation and identity. The prohibiting of the Bible comes amidst a bigger effort by UnitedStates conservatives in states to restriction mentors on questionable subjects such as LGBT rights and racial identity. Bans on specific books considered offensive are likewise in location in Texas, Florida, Missouri and South Carolina.
