(Reuters) -Elon Musk, the billionaire CEO of Tesla (NASDAQ:), openly backed Donald Trump for the veryfirst time in the U.S. governmental race, calling the Republican previous president “tough.”
Musk, the world’s wealthiest individual, published the recommendation with a video of Trump with blood on his face pumping his fist after numerous shots called out at Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday. Trump was safe.
The posts cement Musk’s shift towards conservative politics and hand Trump a prominent backer in his mission to return to the White House in the Nov. 5 election.
“I completely back President Trump and hope for his fast healing,” Musk published on his social media platform X.
“The martyr lived,” he composed in a lateron post, pointingout a reported argument inbetween conservative endeavor capitalist Peter Thiel and LinkedIn co-founder and Democratic megadonor Reid Hoffman.
