Apricot Almond Galette

The mix of buttery crust, sweet apricots and nutty almonds will transportation your tastebuds to a world of pure happiness. This stylish dessert is best for any celebration, from a casual afternoon tea to a unique supper celebration
Ingredients
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup saltless butter, cold and cubed
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup apricot jam
- 1 cup apricots, chopped
- ½ cup almonds, chopped
- 2 tablespoon apricot jam
- 1 tablespoon water
Method
- Preheat oven to 175°C.
- In a food processor, integrate the flour, cold butter, granulated sugar and cold water. Pulse into a coarse crumb.
- Transfer the mix onto a gently floured surfacearea and knead into a smooth dough. Shape the dough into a disc, wrap it in plastic wrap and cool for 30 minutes.
