Limoncel lo Tiramisu

The buzz of the limoncello and creaminess of the mascarpone in this dessert is wonderful. You’ll discover candied lemon pieces in excellent grocers and delis.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs, apart
- 50g sugar
- 250g mascarpone cheese
- Juice & enthusiasm 1 lemon
- 50mL water
- 4 tablespoon limoncello
- 10 savoiardi biscuits
- 4 candied lemon pieces
Method
- Whisk egg whites and half of the sugar with an electrical mixer till they kind stiff peaks.
- Place yolks in a big bowl with staying sugar and whisk upuntil thick and pale, around 2 minutes. Add mascarpone and lemon passion and whisk to integrate.
- Gently fold in the egg whites and set aside.
- Place 50mL water, lemon juice and limoncello into a low-sided bowl and mix to integrate.
- To puttogether, location 2 spoons of mascarpone into a high glass, dip 2 biscuits into the limoncello mix and location on top of the mascarpone — you will requirement to break the biscuits to fi t your glasses. Repeat twotimes and leading with mascarpone.
- Cover with plastic wrap and cool for 3 hours.
- Top with candied lemon pieces and lemon enthusiasm simply previously serving.
- Tip: You can make this dessert a day or 2 in advance.
