Pulled Pork Sliders

This pulled pork is one of my go-to busy-day dishes. It cooks in the sluggish cooker with verylittle effort; it’s extremely flexible and legitimate scrumptious.
Ingredients
- 400g tomato passata
- ½ cup beef stock
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup apple-cider vinegar
- 2 tsp mustard powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoon molasses
- ½ tsp liquid smoke (optional)
- 2kg pork shoulder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
Method
- Place the sauce components into a pan and bring to the boil.
- Lower the heat and simmer for 30 minutes upuntil the sauce lowers by half.
- Season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper and location it in the sluggish cooker.
- Pour 1 cup of sauce over it.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 6 hours.
- Use 2 forks to shred the pork and mix the sauce through it
- If you desire to include additional sauce, simply drizzle it over and mix it through.
- Serve in buns with fresh coleslaw.
- Note: The remaining sauce can be saved in a container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
