How ancient Greek concepts and modern-day clinical information produce Synchronicity’s most meditative setup.

Musica Universalis – equated as “music of the spheres” – is the last work in United Visual Artists’ Synchronicity exhibit at 180 Studios, looking at patterns in the universe and the questions of the universe.

Taking motivation from the theory of ancient Greek thinker Pythagoras that the worlds developed a greater type of music inaudible to the human ear, UVA utilized information from dwarf worlds at the edge of our solar system to develop an setup that makes this concept concrete through light, motion and noise.

In this video, UVA creator Matt Clark discusses the procedure behind developing this meditative setup. Synchronicity is open till 28 January, 2024 at London’s 180 Studios and includes brand-new works consistingof Polyphony, Chromatic and Edge of Chaos.
