Colin Cowherd doesn’t simply talk football — he makes selects, too.

Cowherd and Jason McIntyre invested part of Thursday exposing their 3 finest bets for Week 5 of the college football season, focusing on a coupleof Big Ten groups.

Let’s dive into their analysis from “The Herd.”

(All times ET)

MINNESOTA @ NO. 12 MICHIGAN (noon, Saturday, FOX and the FOX Sports app)

Colin’s select: Under 35.5 points

Colin’s ideas: “Michigan can’t toss the football, and Minnesota shut out 2 of its veryfirst 3 challengers. It’s 2 truly excellent defenses and 2 minimal offenses.”

J-Mac’s choose: Over 35.5 points

J-Mac’s ideas: “I think that Michigan, off an amazing triumph, I believe there’s a little pullback. The defense is lax and Minnesota is able to rating 14, 17, however Michigan gets the win.”

WISCONSIN @ NO. 13 USC (3: 30 p.m., Saturday, CBS)

Colin’s select: USC -15.5

Colin’s ideas: “At home, bounce back blowout win over Wisconsin. Once they got their feet under ‘em in the 2nd half [against Michigan], they really extended drives. They simply might not manage Michigan’s D-line, which is the finest in the Big Ten.”

NEBRASKA @ PURDUE (noon, Saturday, Peacock)

J-Mac’s select: Nebraska -10

J-Mac’s ideas: “Purdue is terrible. Notre Dame couldn’t do anything and they scored 60 points[on Purdue] Purdue can’t stop a nosebleed.”

Colin & JMac’s Big Ten Bets: OSU-MSU, USC-Wisconsin and more

NO. 3 OHIO STATE @ MICHIGAN STATE (7 p.m., Saturday, Peacock)

Colin’s select: Ohio State -23.5

Colin’s ideas: “Ohio State is the No. 3 scoring offense in the nation, and onceagain, since it’s Chip Kelly, this is an offense that must get muchbetter every week. … I believe this group is simply gonna grow and grow and grow.”

NO. 8 OREGON @ UCLA (11 a.m., Saturday, FOX and the FOX Sports App)

J-Mac’s select: Oregon -26

J-Mac’s ideas: “Oregon hasactually been sluggish to get up to speed. They had a 3-point win over lowly Boise State. Then, versus Oregon State, preferred by 17, they win by a million. I believe they’re beginning to round into type.”
