Buccaneers indication Kyle Rudolph in post-Gronk age

It appears Kyle Rudolph will be at least part of the formula when it comes to changing Rob Gronkowski in Tampa Bay.

Reports emerged late Wednesday night that the veteran tight end had signed a 1year offer with the Bucs, after “Gronk” restated that his playing profession is done this week — despite what his sweetheart thinks.

Rudolph, 32, invested last season with the New York Giants, and prior to that, he was a two-time Pro Bowl choice throughout his 10 years with the Minnesota Vikings (2012, 2017).

While Rudolph hasactually been efficient over the course of his 11-year profession, his analytical output doesn’t come close to that of Gronkowski’s.

Even last season, which showed to be Gronkowski’s last season, almost matched the output of Rudolph’s finest season. In 2016-17, Rudolph captured 83 passes for 840 lawns and 7 ratings. In 2021-22, Gronkowski captured 55 balls for 802 backyards and 6 ratings.

Gronkowski’s finest private year happened in 2011-12, when he captured 90 passes for 1,327 lawns and 17 ratings.

Rudolph — who tallied 26 receptions for 257 backyards and one goal in 16 videogames last season (13 begins) — has neverever had a 1,000-yard getting season. Gronkowski has had 4.
