Iowa star Caitlin Clark makes surprise ‘Saturday Night Live’ look

Caitlin Clark made a surprise look on “Saturday Night Live” throughout the reveal’s “Weekend Update” section.

The Iowa star is in New York for the 2024 WNBA Draft on Monday, when she is anticipated to be the leading choice by the Indiana Fever.

The NCAA Division I all-time prominent scorer revealed up after anchor Michael Che made a joke about Iowa retiring her jersey. Clark got the last laugh as Che then checkout some more jokes that Clark stated she composed that made enjoyable of the comic.

The Iowa native then provided a genuine message about her basketball future, thanking lotsof of the fantastic gamers who came before her.

“I’m sure it will be a huge veryfirst action for me, however it’s simply one action for the WNBA thanks to all the fantastic gamers like Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie, Cynthia Cooper, the fantastic Dawn Staley, and my basketball hero, Maya Moore,” Clark stated. “These are the ladies that kicked down the door so I might walk within. So, I desire to thank them tonight for laying the structure.”

Clark came back on phase at the end of the reveal, taking her previous Hawkeyes colleagues Kate Martin, Gabbie Marshall and Jada Gyamfi with her.

It’s been a hectic week for Clark because her group lost to South Carolina in the nationwide champion videogame in Cleveland. She went to Los Angeles to accept the John R. Wooden Award, had a rally at the Iowa arena to commemorate the group and now is in New York.
