Dec. 26 (UPI) — The author of a real criminaloffense book about the foundedguilty killer Alex Murdaugh hasactually implicated the court clerk that manage the trial of plagiarizing a 12-page area that she composed for the book’s beginning.
Becky Hill, the clerk, presumably confessed to co-author Neil Gordon that she plagiarized a 12-page area of the book from a BBC pressreporter without Gordon’s understanding. Gordon stated he faced Hill after the BBC pressreporter shared the passage along with an shortarticle they hadactually composed.
“When I challenged Becky about this, she confessed she plagiarized the passage due to duedate pressures,” Gordon stated . “As a veteran reporter myself, I cannot reason her habits, nor can I excuse it.”
Gordon stated he was “blindsided” by the discovery and has stopped sales of the book he co-wrote with Hill, Behind the Doors of Justice: the Murdaugh Murders.
