Bernhard Langer to missouton his last Masters after ravaging injury

Bernhard Langer justrecently revealed that he was going to play his last Masters Tournament this April. Unfortunately, that is no longer going to takeplace.

Langer revealed Friday that he suffered a torn Achilles.

“Yesterday, throughout training workouts in Boca Raton, I tore my Achilles tendon. I will have surgicaltreatment today to repairwork the injury, which will cause me to missouton time playing competitive golf as I recuperate,” Langer stated in a declaration through the PGA Tour.

“Throughout my profession, faith and household haveactually been my bedrocks, offering me strength and directing me through challenging times. I will lean on both as I work towards a return to competitors.

“I value everybody’s assistance throughout this time, and I appearance forward to seeing the fans and my fellow rivals back on the course quickly.”

He will missouton an indefinite quantity of time rehabbing the injury. Considering the German native’s 66 years of age, one has to marvel if golf fans will ever see Langer at Augusta National onceagain.
