Sept. 8 (UPI) — Quarterback Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys concurred to a four-year agreement extension worth an NFL-record $240 million, his firm, Athletes First, revealed Sunday.

The pact consistsof $231 million ensured, an $80 million finalizing perk and makes Prescott the highest-paid gamer in NFL history. Prescott will get $100 million in the veryfirst year of the extension.

He will now be under agreement through the 2028 season.
