The authorities site for the upcoming live-action movie adjustment of Kaiji Kawaguchi’s manga The Silent Service began streaming a new trailer presenting more videofootage.

The brand-new clip illustrates Japan’s initially nuclear submarine, the Seabat, defying the extreme barrage from fighter airplanes and diving into the deep sea, while playing Mozart’s Symphony No. 41, “Jupiter.” The submarine is followed by the Ronald Reagan, a nuclear-powered airplane provider of the U.S. Seventh Fleet.

Kawaguchi’s initial manga was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Morning magzine from 1988 to 1996, then puttogether in 32 tankobon volumes with a overall bloodcirculation of 32 million copies (paper and digital). The series was formerly adjusted into a three-chapter OVA series by Sunrise from 1995 to 1998.
