WASHINGTON (Reuters) -President Joe Biden pleaded with Republicans on Wednesday for a fresh infusion of military help for Ukraine, caution that a success for Russia over Ukraine would leave Moscow in position to attack NATO allies and might draw U.S. soldiers into a war.

Biden spoke as the United States prepared to reveal $175 million in extra Ukraine help from its diminishing supply of cash for Kyiv. He signified a determination to make substantial modifications to U.S. migration policy along the border with Mexico to shot to draw Republican assistance.

“If Putin takes Ukraine, he won’t stop there,” Biden stated. Putin will attack a NATO ally, he anticipated, and then “we’ll have something that we wear’t lookfor and that we wear’t have today: American soldiers combating Russian soldiers,” Biden stated.

“We can’t let Putin win,” he stated.

The White House alerted this week that the U.S. is running out of time and cash to aid Ukraine pushback Russia’s intrusion.
