Former President Donald Trump took a jab at New Jersey rock icon Bruce Springsteen throughout his huge Jersey Shore rally on Saturday afternoon.
In front of 10s of thousands of advocates on the beachfront in Wildwood, New Jersey, Trump stated:
“I love these Saturday nights. Is there anything muchbetter than a Trump rally? If some of these wackos came along, you understand, these liberal vocalists, they’d really vote for me. You understand, like Bruce Springsteen. We have a much larger crowd than Bruce Springsteen. Right?”
The “Born in the USA” hitmaker is a long-lasting Democrat and impassioned Trump critic. In addition, he released a podcast series 3 years ago, Renegades: Born in the USA,” with previous President Barack Obama.
The remarks drew instant response on social media.
