A Georgia lawyer and previous City of Atlanta authorities officer was sentenced today to 7 years and 3 months in jail for conspiring to defraud the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) of roughly $15 million.

According to court files and proof provided at trial, Shelitha Robertson, 62, of Atlanta, conspired with Chandra Norton to send deceitful PPP loan applications on behalf of organizations that Robertson and Norton each owned.
