UFC heavyweight champ Jon Jones is discussing his choice to stick with combating Stipe Miocic next.

Jones hasactually come under analysis by some fans and critics for not desiring to get in the cage with present interim UFC heavyweight champ Tom Aspinall.

It was to be Jones (27-1 MMA) vs. Miocic (20-4 MMA) last November at UFC 295.  However, Jon Jones had to withdraw from that battle after tearing a pectoral muscle previous to the match.

With Jones sidelined, the UFC made the choice to book Tom Aspinall (14-3 MMA) versus Sergei Pavlovich (18-2 MMA) for the interim heavyweight title that November day. Aspinall would defeat Pavlovich by KO to endedupbeing interim champ.

Taking to ‘X‘, Jon Jones discussed his choice to stick with battling Stipe Miocic next:

I’m in the middle of a quite clear choice… stick to precise and initial strategies, and battle the male with all the distinctions. Or, entirely neglect all of the Stipe training I’ve put in and battle another prospective buzz train that might not even be around in 3 years.
