Nov. 17 (UPI) — Dolly Parton hasactually launched her first-ever rock album.
The nation music star, 77, launched the album Rockstar on Friday after revealing the job in November2022
Rockstar includes initial tunes and covers of renowned strikes, consistingof “Purple Rain” by Prince.
Parton workedtogether with anumberof of the tunes’ initial artists and other music artists on the album.
The other covers consistof “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction” including Pink and Brandi Carlile, “Heart of Glass” including Debbie Harry,” “Stairway to Heaven” including Lizzo, “What’s Up?” including Linda Perry, “Wrecking Ball” including Miley Cyrus and “Let It Be” including Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.
“I can’t inform you how happy I am of the ‘Rockstar’ album and I can’t inform you how delighted I am that it’s lastly here to be launched!” Parton composed on Instagram. “I actually had a fantastic time working with all these renowned artists on the record and all these renowned artists. Not to reference all these fantastic renowned tunes that I believe everyone will love hearing onceagain. I simply hope you delightin my variation of them!”
Parton was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in November 2022 after atfirst turning down the honor.
Rockstar marks Parton’s initially album consideringthat Run, Rose, Run, her buddy album for her unique of the verysame name, co-written with James Patterson.
