Buğra B., who lives in Istanbul, filed for a mutually agreed-upon divorce from his wife, Ezgi B., citing “severe incompatibility and a breakdown in the foundation of their marriage.” The two parties have agreed to end their marriage and have not sought any compensation or alimony from each other, but they did include a rather peculiar protocol in their divorce filing, which could impact future divorces of pet-owning couples.
