MEXICO CITY (Reuters) -Mexico’s monetary system has a resistant and strong position regardlessof a complex international outlook, Bank of Mexico Governor Victoria Rodriguez stated on Wednesday.
The banking system for Latin America’s No. 2 economy revealed strength in tension tests penetrating its solvency and liquidity, the bank’s monetary stability report stated.
“The banking system’s strong liquidity position would permit it to cope with episodes of tension higher than those experienced in the previous,” Banxico, as the main bank is understood, stated in the report.
