Dec. 31 (UPI) — British tv manufacturer Nigel Lythgoe is rejecting Paula Abdul’s sexual attack accusations versus him.
“To state that I am stunned and saddened by the claims made versus me by Paula Abdul is a wild understatement. For more than 2 years, Paula and I have engaged as dear — and completely platonic — pals and associates,” Lythgoe stated in declaration Saturday.
“Yesterday, nevertheless, out of the blue, I foundout of these declares in the press and I desire to be clear: not just are they incorrect, they are deeply offensive to me and to whatever I stand for,” he included. “While Paula’s history of unpredictable habits is well understood, I can’t pretend to comprehend precisely why she would file a claim that she should understand is incorrect. But I can pledge that I will battle this dreadful smear with whatever I have.”
Abdul’s suit was submitted in the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday under the Sexual Abuse and Cover Up A/c
