Switzerland-based overseas drilling professional Transocean has tucked a multi-million agreement extension in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico under its belt for an ultra-deepwater drillship used by Hess Corporation, a U.S.-based oil and gas gamer.
Set to bring around $188 million in stockpile, consistingof extra services, the mostcurrent agreement extension for the Deepwater Asgard drillship will allow the rig to keep working for Hess in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
With 365 days included to the rig’s stockpile, the extra scope of work, which is anticipated to start in direct extension of the drillship’s present program, will keep the floater hectic till June 2026.
