‘Walker’ canceled after 4 seasons on The CW

May 21 (UPI) — The CW hasactually passed on a 5th season of its crime-drama series, Walker.

“We desire to thank the whole cast, team, authors, directors and manufacturers of ‘Walker’ for their tough work and commitment over 4 amazing seasons,” the cabletelevision network stated in a declaration Tuesday.

“We likewise desire to provide a unique thanks to star and executive manufacturer Jared Padalecki, who hasactually been a member of The CW household for over 20 years and was essential to some of the mostsignificant strikes on the network.”

Padalecki grieved the cancellation of his Walker, Texas Ranger remake with a post on Instagram.

“Howdy, y’all. It is with a heavy heart that I share this news with you. #Walker will not be airing on #CW for a 5th season. It’s a difficult piece of news to be sure, however we are SO happy for the #WalkerFamily that hasactually been constructed, both on set and off,” the star and manufacturer composed.
