Alanna Rizzo’s awkward tirade about Jake Mintz doing his task was as oblivious as it was untenable

Yes, the discourse around MLB author Jake Mintz reporting Orlando Arcia’s “Ha ha, atta-boy, Harper!” garbage talk after the Atlanta Braves’ Game 2 NLDS win hasactually gone method over the leading for something so small and silly.

But now, it’s gotten unsightly thanks to the outrageous remarks from MLB Network’s Alanna Rizzo.

Rizzo went on Thursday’s High Heat and provided a misdirected tirade about Mintz that was incorrect on so numerous levels.

It began with her stating “some jackoff” — which, truly? — coming in to get a credential (“God just understands why,” she said) insomeway ruins it for all the hard-working beat pressreporters who are in MLB clubhouses every day. She included that the clubhouse is “a spiritual area,” which is most definitely not the case ESPECIALLY when pressreporters are strolling around in it.
