With the veryfirst play on Houston’s opening drive Saturday versus the Colts, novice quarterback C.J. Stroud and the Texans opened with fireworks and rapidly put points on the board.
On the roadway versus Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium, the Texans tracked 3-0 when they began their veryfirst drive. Holding onto the veryfirst breeze from their own 25-yard line, Stroud had strong security as he looked downfield before introducing a deep pass to receiver Nico Collins.
