Chicago PD examining officer accusations of sexual misbehavior with migrants: Reports

The Chicago Police Department is supposedly examining a group of their own officers believed of sexual misbehavior with freshly showedup migrants.

“These claims are under examination with CPD’s Bureau of Internal Affairs and the Civilian Office of Police Accountability,” the company informed USA TODAY in a declaration.

The department did not clarify how lotsof officers are included and whether disciplinary action hasactually been taken.

Since August, the city has carried over 8,000 migrants sentout by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, lotsof needing comprehensive care, according to city authorities.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, who veryfirst broke the story, hundreds of migrants have had to sleep on floorings at the authorities station, which lead to the city sendingout migrants to momentary areas like neighborhood colleges. All 22 of Chicago’s authorities stations have momentarily served as shelters for migrants, the Chicago Tribune reported.

About 40 immigrants haveactually been moved out of the Ogden district authorities station Friday afternoon following the verification of the examination, the Sun-Times reported. Police authorities did not clarify where they were headed.
