Dak Prescott had the game of his career in a romp against Tom Brady and Co., and now leads the Dallas Cowboys to a divisional-round clash with Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers.
Can the Cowboys, who hadn’t won a playoff game since the 20th century, keep their season going against a 49ers team who made easy work of the Seattle Seahawks last week? Can Purdy, the final pick in the 2022 draft, keep his unlikely ascent on schedule? The game kicks off Sunday at 6: 30 p.m. ET from Levi’s Stadium.

Lorenzo Reyes: 49ers 31, Cowboys 23
The Niners look like one of the most well-rounded, balanced teams in the playoff field. Kyle Shanahan devised a scheme that has allowed Purdy to shine. And while the Cowboys shook out of a recent slump in the wild-card round, the 49ers’ defense is elite at every level and should give the Cowboys fits.
Safid Deen: 49ers 31, Cowboys 23
Despite Dak Prescott and the Cowboys’ offense finding its rhythm in Tampa Bay last week, it’ll be a different story going up against Nick Bosa and the 49ers’ stout defense. Dallas couldn’t beat San Francisco with a home-field advantage in the playoffs last year, so I certainly don’t expect them to beat the 49ers, with running back Christian McCaffrey. I’m taking the Niners at home, while the Cowboys’ season ends on Sunday night.
Richard Morin: 49ers 28, Cowboys 20
The Cowboys got the monkey off their back with a win wild-card weekend, but the 49ers are a much more solid unit than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. How far can Purdy ride this thing?
Jarrett Bell: Cowboys 28, 49ers 27
Nate Davis: 49ers 27, Cowboys 24
Tyler Dragon: 49ers 28, Cowboys 20
