This was definitely not Jimmy Garoppolo’s finest minute.
During a low-event Sunday Night Football videogame inbetween the Denver Broncos and the San Francisco 49ers, Garoppolo engraved his name into NFL history books after a really regrettable and preventable security. With the 49ers up 7-3 in the 3rd quarter, San Francisco was caught deep in their zone on 2nd and 10, looking to get out of their zone and extend their lead.
Sadly, it was not to be, as Garoppolo pulled a Dan Orlovsky and stepped out of the back of the end zone for a security while trying to prevent a set of Broncos protectors on a pass.
