LAS VEGAS – UFC president Dana White states Khamzat Chimaev’s weight problems have led to a dispute inbetween matchmakers, with him stuck in the middle.

Chimaev (12-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) came in 7.8 pounds over the welterweight limitation for his initially arranged UFC 279 headliner versus Nate Diaz earlier this month. The substantial missouton lead to a card shuffle, resulting in Chimaev being reserved versus Kevin Holland in a 180-pound catchweight bout.
