Two boats taking part in the The Ocean Race had confrontations with killer whales on Thursday, the race reported.
Team JAJO’s “scary minute” with a pod of 3 whale in the Atlantic Ocean while approaching the Straights of Gibraltar was captured on video. The whale bumped the VO65 class sailboat and appeared to take specific interest in the ship’s rudders.
