Former United States goalkeeper Hope Solo spoke out in a podcast 4 months after she was jailed for driving intoxicated, stating it was the worst error of her life and putting part of the blame on her failure to function due to having no assistance and postpartum anxiety.

Solo was apprehended March 31 and charged with driving while drunk, resisting arrest and misdemeanor kid abuse after somebody saw Solo passed out in a lorry with the engine running for more than an hour in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
